If the cot is bare wood, laminate or metal, or currently varnished or painted in an existing oil based paint, you&apos;ll need to apply a coat of <a href="https://tintpaint.com.au/prep-plus" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Tint Prep Plus</a> first. If it&apos;s currently painted in a water based paint, you&apos;re good to go after a clean and a light sand! We recommend giving the paint a week to fully cure &amp; harden before using the cot.</span></p>
