To get the best result when using Tint Painters Tape, make sure that you firmly push down the tape edges. This will prevent the paint from bleeding under. Make sure you gently remove the tape shortly after finishing your final coat - within 30 to 60 minutes is ideal. This will stop the paint curing over the tape, which is what causes a jagged edge effect when you peel the paint off — as well as preventing the tape from getting too grabby and pulling fresher painted paint off the surface.
